The Walking
Our walking is moderate with some strenuous stretches, all done at a manageable pace. Walking for five days, with one free day.
The Walks

Cala Tuent - classic varied walk to idyllic Cala Tuent cove
Valldemossa - Deia—Puerto Soller - lovely walk along ancient way marked routes and mule tracks
Castell de Alaro - to the Castell, perched on one of the “Molar Mountains”, once a Moorish stronghold, beautiful views.
Binifaldo—Pollensa - ancient Pilgrims way with good views all the way.
Tossals - Lloseta - starting under Puig Major, at the Cubar reservoir, ascend the Pigeons Pass, and down to Almendra and Loseta.
Binifaldo - Menut - Lluch Monastry - starting at Coll de Sabatia, reaching Coll des Palat, with superb views of Massanella, the second highest peak, finishing at the historic Lluch Monastry
Cubar -Es Barranc - Soller Climbing the majestic L'Ofre peak, then descending the Barranc on an ancient Pilgrims Way into Soller Town centre.
We transport you to the walk start each day and also to the various historical sites we visit. The travel through these magnificent hills is a big feature of our holiday.
Your Walk leaders
Eileen Cutler is your leader, 20 years experienced in guiding in Majorca, whose knowledge of the history and culture of this area adds much enjoyment to your holiday. Alan Garner and Chris Bland are your tour guides - looking after all other aspects of the holiday for you.
The Climate
Is typically Mediterranean, mild winters and hot summers - too hot for walking. We organize our holidays in March/April - lovely spring flowers and a green paradise, and September, when it is still lovely and warm, ideal for walking.
Flights
There are flights from most major airports to Palma and you will be transferred to the Puerto Pollensa from the airport. We will quote you from the nearest airport to you, but dependent on flight days and times, we may advise different airports at the time of reservation - but the choice is yours. There may be flight supplements dependent on the airport you fly from, and on how late you book with us. We will always quote you to your exact specification and give you options on flights.
Your Hotel
We use the three star Hotel Uyal in Puerto Pollensa as our base for Majorcan walking holidays. A modern hotel, superb facilities, all you need to relax after walking. We stay half board, and dinner is always a feature of our holidays - time to socialize, with good food and wine to swap stories about the day’s walking. The hotel, located just across from the beach, and about 1km from downtown Puerto Pollensa. It is fully air conditioned and has a swimming pool, It has a range of reception rooms, and outdoor relaxing areas to enhance your holiday. Sea view rooms available at extra costs. Small single supplement for sole use of a twin room.
Your Food
Breakfast is taken in the hotel’s dining room or on the outside terrace, by the bay. Plenty of choice, buffet style, but a full English can be served at a daily supplement. Dinner - three courses from a table d'hôte menu that changes each day. The starters are filling, and main courses come with vegetables grown on the island.. We generally eat inside during the time we are on the island, but if it’s a warm evening then outside eating is highly recommended.

If you run a walking group, we can cater for your group’s needs on Majorca. We will propose a programme to you, then we agree the activities. We arrange everything for you - flights, accommodation and programme - and we use our buying power to conclude the best deal we can for your group.
