Strolling and Exploring Secret Gardens
Strolling and Exploring secret gardens - access to private gardens not normally open to the public as well as public gardens of great interest. We stroll in the morning, mainly on flat ground, but occasionally in the Shropshire Hills, there is a little, but not severe climbing - and we won't rush these. In the afternoon, we visit some of the following private and public gardens;
The Secret Gardens
The Quarry Garden, Shrewsbury/ The Dingle Gardens , near Welshpool/ Glansevern Gardens/ Marehay Farm gardens/ Hodnet Hall gardens/Jessamine gardens, near Church Stretton/ Acton Scott Hall quarry garden/Powis Castle gardens/The Angel garden, Ludlow/Helmeth Hill bluebell woods. May is a beautiful time in the garden, spring is upon us, and blooms are very often at their finest. We take our time looking at the finest gardens in the area, some in Shropshire and some just over the border in Powys.
A lovely, relaxing break, designed to combine your love of gardens with some gentle strolling in the finest of Shropshire's hill country
