Berwyn Mountains in North Wales
Hidden away - this gem of an area - 1000 square miles of upland splendour - bisected by the Rivers Dee and Ceiriog - where the walking is superb. The area has a historical industrial past, with quarries and mines all around, but this gives us lovely walking paths and we explore this hidden North Wales walking area with relish.

We organise our holidays from the small village of Llanarmon Dyffryn Ceiriog, high up the River Ceiriog valley. This village has hosted shooting, fishing walking and hunting parties for centuries and it's two inns - The West Arms and The Hand have considerable comfortable accommodation.
This walking holiday is arranged from Sundays to Fridays to take advantage of midweek hotel rates, we walk on Sunday aftrenoons until Friday lunch time. However, consistent with our flexibility policy, stay for as short or long as you like.
The Berwyns are a great walking experience - join us for walks through Wales forgotten upland scenery.
