Isle of Wight

Situated just off England's South coast and less than 2 hours from London via the Isle of Wight Ferry, the UK's Holiday Island and Dinosaur Capital of Great Britain, the Isle of Wight is the perfect destination at any time of year.

The Isle of Wight measures 23 miles by 13 miles and is littered with picturesque villages and bustling small towns. In the towns you’ll find a great range of shops including local boutique stores and familiar high street brands. If you’re indulging in some serious retail therapy, stop off in one the coffee shops or cafes and refuel with some delicious coffee and homemade cake.

Half of the island is designated as an Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty, with 30 miles of heritage coast

Its also called the sunny island with an abundance of sunshine make the Isle of Wight a beautiful  and welcoming destination

What Others Said...

November 2013 Cathar Country Sorry it has taken me a while to write to tell you how much I enjoyed my holiday. The hotel was nice, the food excellent and the chef happy to provide an alternative to mushroom sauce for me. As a point of info, and not a problem, there are no tea-making facilities in the rooms but Olivier provided me with a kettle and cup and saucer when asked about this and I was able to keep milk in the fridge in my room (not a mini-bar). So was able to make a welcome cup of tea on our return in the afternoons. Chris is an enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide and leader and was able to be flexible so that we maximised our exploration of the area despite the couple of wet days. We really got to see the area and learnt a lot about it in our week's break. I will certainly be recommending this to friends and look forward to my next Secret Hills holiday.
