A superb destination for excellent walking.

Montenegro (or more correctly Crna gore, ‘black mountain’) lies on the southern Adriatic coast, sandwiched between Croatia, Bosnia - Hercegovina, Serbia and Albania and within its borders are some of the wildest, most spectacular, and least visited trails and mountains in Europe.

Montenegro has it all on offer, from beautiful turquoise coastline, fjords, rivers, canyons and lakes to majestic hills and mountains and idyllic unspoilt old and new towns and villages as well as a vast range of wildflowers and birds.

We stay for our holiday is on the side of The Bay of Kotor in Kotor town, a deeply indented, fjord like turquoise inlet surrounded by mountains that reach the sky. Stunning sunsets. Because of its beauty and superb location and access to fantastic, varied walking our hotel for this new holiday is in Kotor, on the Bay.

What Others Said...

Norfolk - June 2021. Reservation straightforward. All completed on-line. Good to receive communication after making the booking, plus invoice information. Very warm welcome both from the owner and Secret Hills walking leader/guide. I had a nice room, pleasant view. Clean. Hotel staff helpful. Very much enjoyed guided walking. I learned a lot about the geography and history of the area in which we were walking. Friendly group. We were kept informed about our routes daily basis. Care was taken over our wellbeing, e.g. temperature, and the situation was adjusted accordingly. Splendidly organised. A terrific break where time slowed down for me. I learned much about walking poles, boots and how to utilise my rucksack to my advantage. Thanks to Mark our walking guide/leader. I was in wildflower heaven with the wildflower meadows.
