UK holidays

 Our promise to you once you have reserved a holiday

As a protection against any short term cancellation for whatever cause and to assure yourselves that you have provided financial cover for yourself against all eventualities, we urge you to obtain adequate travel insurance with adequate covid cover.

In these unusual times, it is important that we assure you that your reservation made for UK holidays with us is safe and secure. In case of our cancelling a holiday due to government restrictions (see below) OR due to our not being able to run the holiday (see below) – we will guarantee to transfer your money to an alternative UK holiday of your choice or issue you with a credit note with no time limit – should you be unable to select an alternative immediately. There will be no administrative charge for this alteration in your travel arrangements.

If you cancel the holiday, then our terms and conditions will apply We will always seek to minimise any loss of monies you may incur through you cancelling your holiday at short notice by negotiating with our hotels.

However, if you cancel at short notice and we have already paid for your hotel accommodation then we will not be able to refund the accommodation part of the holiday cost. We pay for our hotel fees two weeks prior to the holiday start date. We will however negotiate with the hotel on your behalf to achieve some return of costs if possible.

Personal restrictions

Should you be unable to attend the holiday due to the following reasons:

  • You catch Covid 19 and you are not able to travel during the time you are infectious and self isolating. Subject to evidence being provided, (copy of your PCR test result).
  • Someone in your circle of contacts has been tested and contracted the virus, causing you to self isolate on the test, track and trace national programme. Subject to evidence being provided, (Contact and Trace text message).

If we cancel your holiday

  • In the event that we cancel your holiday due to lack of adequate numbers, we will organise a full refund, should the alternative holidays we offer not be suitable.

Should you request a refund – then a £50 administration fee will apply.

Travel to Europe with us

Travelling to Europe with us is simple. We arrange all your needs on your holiday- you need to book your own flight. We arrange transfers from and to the destination airport.

Travel Insurance – you need to be fully covered

It is a condition of joining any of our holidays that you must be fully insured against travel, all medical- including any Coronavirus issues, and personal accident risks (to include repatriation costs and air ambulance or helicopter rescue services where appropriate). We will ask for this information as a condition of reserving a place.

If you are a UK citizen and travelling in Europe you should obtain the UK Global Health Insurance Card (GHIC) which is available only online from the UK Government website. This gives you medical care at a reduced cost, and some cases for free, in many European countries, but should not be considered a substitute for adequate travel insurance.
