Mallorca Holiday April 2022
Angela Richards who recently went on a guided walking for solos and singles holiday in Mallorca,
has sent us this lovely report.
At first, the holiday quote seemed so expensive and I was having trouble spending that amount of money on myself. It seemed so indulgent. But having taken the plunge and done it, I certainly do not have any regrets. It was worth every penny.
A friend of mine got me to actually add up how much I thought each aspect of the holiday was worth-
– the room in a hotel, literally just metres from the sea, in its own beautiful bay. Large and roomy for just me.
– the hotel food, beautiful quality, great selections and unlimited amounts
– the flights, and the transfer that made it so hassle free
– the walk leaders, who led the walks perfectly, they were knowledgeable, interesting, attentive and really took care of us
– also the walk leaders, for being so much more than just walk leaders, the meeting each evening, where they checked all was ok with the hotel, food etc, answered any questions, chatted and helped the group really bond
– the company, being with like minded people who want to get out and explore, chat, have a laugh and enjoy each other’s company
– all the admin and paper worth being taken care of, or at least overseen, by others.
As I say, worth every penny, I would have happy stayed longer, and definitely hope to go away again with Secret Hills.
