The Way to go- Ullswater Way – a beautiful walk
Many say that Ullswater is the most beautiful of the lakes in the Lake District- we couldn’t agree more.
A few years ago. a special path was commissioned to contour this lake – and they called it the Ullswater Way. It’s very popular and it’s not hard to see why.
Twice a year we organise a guided walking holiday around this lake- and add on a bit extra – we walk on the first afternoon of arrival and add a third walking day that covers the Lowther loop.
There’s a little reward at the end – we present the Ullswater Way badge – a symbol of completion of a long distance path.
The walguidedking is excellent but it is the views over the lake to the near distance hills that people remember most.
We stay close by in Penrith -at the George Hotel in the middle of Penrith– a super start point for or lake adventure.
