A change that excites
Secret Hills Walking holidays started life 19 years ago and our first holidays extolled the secrets and virtues of the Shropshire Hills and their beauty and walking excellence. Overall, we have hosted just over 2000 clients since the beginning to the end of 2022.
During that time, we have used the Longmynd Hotel – local to our offices in Church Stretton, however since being taken over by HF holidays, the availability of the hotel to us has reduced – this has meant we have needed to secure an alternative.
It’s a big change – but sometimes change can be very beneficial.
The Shropshire Hills- a unique country house venue
This is a holiday with a unique difference which offers a lovely social feel, an idyllic, stunning country estate setting – all supported by our superb, guided walking expertise. This is a getaway with a difference.
The difference – it has many upgraded facilities that a hotel would not have – we have secured the self-contained accommodation houses- containing six or more sole occupancy superbly appointed en suite bedrooms, but also containing a large kitchen with all facilities, a lovely lounge for relaxing, a dining area, and outside terraces for relaxing in the evening.
Of course, the guided walking is as always – led by leaders who know this area, its history and geology well.
